WHEN IS THE CIRCUS ON?

We produce 4 world class circus shows each year.

Easter, break we have Pirates Live.

Summer Holidays, our Summer Circus & Water Spectacular.

Halloween half term, Halloween Spooktacular.

Christmas Circus & Water Spectacular.

HOW LONG IS THE HIPPODROME SHOW?

Our shows are approx. 2 x 50-minute halves with a 20-minute interval.
So approx. 2 hours overall.

WHAT TIME DOES DOORS OPEN?

We open our doors for entry 30minutes before each performance.

HOW MUCH ARE THE TICKETS FOR THE HIPPODROME?

We have various price brackets depending on where you sit.

Adult tickets start from £22.

Concessions/Carers start from £20.

Child tickets start from £12.

DO I PAY FOR SMALL CHILDREN?

We charge per seat booked. So, if your child is small enough to sit on your lap then they are free.

IS THE SHOW SUITABLE FOR BABIES?

We generally leave the appropriate age of attendance down to the parents. However, we do advise that this is a full-scale production with loud music and lighting. It may not be suitable for all small children.

HOW OLD IS A CHILD?

Child tickets are aged 14yrs and under.

WHO ARE CONCESSIONS?

Concession tickets include 60yrs+, disabled and carers.

IS THERE STEP FREE / EASY ACCESS SEATING/WHEELCHAIR SPACES?

Yes, The Hippodrome has wheelchair friendly seating areas and step free access.

We always advise that these tickets are booked via the phone to ensure your needs are met.

Wheelchair spaces are only bookable through the box office.

Our building does have areas with steep steps so if you have concerns about access, please do call the box office on 01493 738877.

ARE THERE CLOWNS IN THE HIPPODROME SHOWS?

NO! Our shows are 100% clown free, However, we do always have hilarious comedy!

TOILETS:

We have disabled toilets & baby change situated in the foyer area.

BUGGYPARK:

We have a buggy park situated in the main foyer you can leave wheelchairs/walkers here.

TICKETS:

You can use your tickets or sage pay email confirmation for entry either printed or on your phone.

V.I.P:

We offer V.I.P packages this is only bookable through the box office.

BIRTHDAY SHOUT-OUTS:

Please write down your birthday message and hand it to the light sales counter in the foyer on arrival and if there is time during the show they will be announced.

MUSEUM:

The backstage circus museum is only open after the shows, prices are adults £1 and children 50p.

CAFÉ:

Café 1903 is open from 10am on show days, situated left of the main entrance.

PARKING:

We don’t have our own parking; it is a residential area so there are some areas available to park, however there are multiple pay and display parking on the seafront.
